Jamie Anderson has worn out three pick-up trucks since 1987, and seen forty-seven of fifty states, immigrated to Canada and consumed countless cases of MM's while bringing her brand of confused folk music to venues around the world. The award winning composer and musician taught herself guitar by memorizing chords in a Mel Bay song book and now she teaches guitar, mandolin, ukulele and songwriting in her studio and for schools--including Duke University. She has written a plethora of articles about women's music and musician profiles. Her favorite word is plethora. She lives in Ottawa.
